William Cook, Vice President of Engineering
Before joining FineEye William was a professor of Computer Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. He previously served as CTO and Vice President of Engineering at Allegis Corporation, an enterprise software company, which he co-founded and helped to grow to $16M in revenue and nearly 200 employees before Click Commerce acquired the company in 2004. William has provided technology leadership for the development of several award-winning products over the years, including the Allegis eBusiness Suite, the Prentice Hall Writer’s Solution, and Apple Computer’s AppleScript language. He started his career at HP Labs, where his pioneering research in mixins and inheritance helped lay the foundation for today’s object-oriented languages and programming. William received his BS in Computer Science from Tulane University and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Brown University.
